You can now easily embed your Cinches on any website or blog using a simple embed code. This is a great way to share the content you create on Cinch across the web.

Here are the instructions on how to do it:

Step 1: Highlight the Cinch you want to share and click on “Embed” below the profile picture

Step 2: Copy the code to insert it into your web page or Blog post

The Cinch player (featured here) also provides your readers and web visitors with easy ways to share your Cinches on Facebook, Twitter, and across the social web, as well as stay up to date with your RSS Cinch feed.

Louis Gray just wrote a post about this new feature with some great examples of what a Cinch looks like within a blog page.

Organize Your Cinches in Albums

An album is something you can create to organize all of your Cinches. When you create an album you can set it to be private or public. People can also choose to follow specific albums of yours, if they are public.

Here are a few examples of how you could use an album:

• Create a “Family” album that members of your family can follow and to stay up to date with your daily experiences.
• Create a private “Work” album were you capture the great ideas you have, things you need to get done and don’t want to forget, meeting notes and more.
• Create albums on specific areas of interest (music, art, sports) that make it easy for like-minded individuals to follow and feedback on the topics they are interested in.

Stay Up To Date with NotificationsUpdate your profile with notification preferences to stay up to date with the Cinch community. Based on your selections, you can opt to receive notifications via SMS or email when someone follows you, replies to your Cinch and more.

Link Your Phone to Your Cinch Account

You can create a Cinch, three easy ways. Using the Cinch iPhone App, on the CinchCast.com website and using any phone.

If you are creating Cinches by dialing 646-200-0000, make sure to associate your phone in your profile. To set-up your phone on Cinch:

1- Login to your Cinch account
2- Click on Edit Profile
3- Click on Phone
4- Enter any phone number you will be calling from
5- Select which album you would like it to post to

“The free iPhone app, which went live on Friday on iTunes and CinchCast, is already garnering some buzz in the tech blogosphere. TechCrunch called it a “super simple” app that might help audio recording take off the way that photos and video have on social networks.”

Robert Scoble helped spread the word on the App Watch feature (Thanks Robert) by following up the post with the following tweet:

@Sobleizer: “And @CinchCast is Wall Street Journal’s (WSJ) featured app today! http://lnk.ms/2GzqX (this is how I record telephone interviews, cool app).”

To add to the excitement, Bill Cosby, who has been actively posting on Cinch since Friday and was recently written up on Mashable for his participation, made some great posts. If you know and love Jello Pudding, you should check out this recent cinch. 

All of this activity helped Cinch make the “Movers and Shakers” list on Alexa. (See screenshot above)  We are thrilled to have so many people checking out the site, joining the community and helping us spread the word. Thank you!

For those of you who aren’t yet clear on what Cinch is, it’s is a free and easy way to create and share audio, text and photo updates. You can create a Cinch a few different ways, with our newly-launched iPhone app or by dialing 646-200-0000 from any phone. (Here is a step-by-step guide.) Once you’ve created your Cinch, you can automatically share it on Facebook, Twitter, and all the other places where you participate online. 

Cinch can help you “liven up” your status updates.  You can also share funny moments or important news via audio, as well as add commentary to your photos or interview someone on the go. It’s your words, your voice and your view packaged up so you can share them.
