Cinch and BlogTalkRadio: Capturing Great Interviews On the Go

BlogTalkRadio is a platform that allows anyone with a phone and a computer to become a radio host. And with our recent Skype integration it just got easier..  You can sign up for a Host account and be on the air within a matter of moments.

Our hosts create shows for many reasons, some to talk about their new book, some to discuss news, politics, current events, and the list goes on.  One thing most of them have in common are interviews.  The host can have a celebrity, industry insider, author, or even Barack Obama call into the show and you then have yourself an interview.

But what happens when you are not home in front of your PC? Perhaps you are at a conference, you run into a celebrity at an event, or see an author at a book signing. How do you get that interview that you know your listeners want to hear.

That is where Cinch comes into play.  Using your mobile phone or our Cinch iPhone App you can record those once in a lifetime interviews on the go. You can walk right up to George Clooney, Kim Kardashian, or Robert Scoble, and capture the interview on the spot.  You can download the MP3 later, and upload to a BlogTalkRadio show and play it for your listeners.  This opens a whole new world of content for you and your radio show. You can also post the audio clip to your blog, newsletter, or your Facebook or Twitter profile.

We just launched a new embed feature that allows you to easily embed that Cinch recording right into a blog or website with a player.

So to all of our current and future BlogTalkRadio hosts, future radio stars, and Cinch users, take advantage of Cinch to capture and create great content anytime, anywhere.
