Cinch Feature Focus: Albums, Notifications, and Creating a Cinch Using the Phone

As you start to experiment with Cinch, we wanted to highlight a few helpful features that you may not be aware of yet.

Organize Your Cinches in Albums

An album is something you can create to organize all of your Cinches. When you create an album you can set it to be private or public. People can also choose to follow specific albums of yours, if they are public.

Here are a few examples of how you could use an album:

  • Create a “Family” album that members of your family can follow and to stay up to date with your daily experiences.
  • Create a private “Work” album were you capture the great ideas you have, things you need to get done and don’t want to forget, meeting notes and more.
  • Create albums on specific areas of interest (music, art, sports) that make it easy for like-minded individuals to follow and feedback on the topics they are interested in.

Here is a short Cinch on how to set up an album.

Stay Up To Date with NotificationsUpdate your profile with notification preferences to stay up to date with the Cinch community. Based on your selections, you can opt to receive notifications via SMS or email when someone follows you, replies to your Cinch and more.

Here is a short Cinch on how to set up your notifications.

  2. Hello cinch guys, wanted to know with time users would be coming here in hordes and since it is audio, how are going to manage it? where is your funding from? any plans of going premium/basic thing?
    good luck!
love the service and your blog too :)

  3. Technically: BlogTalkRadio, Cinch’s parent company, is already in the business of handling audio on a large scale so managing users’ Cinches won’t be a problem.

Feature-wise: We’ll be adding more features in the future to handle the influx of users signing up for Cinch – a problem we’d love to have!

No plans for premium yet, but we do have business Cinch solutions already in place. See http://www.cinchcast.com/ForBusiness.aspx
